Have To Have It! To Open March 1st in Hampstead Hampstead, NC-February 11, 2010- In December of 2009, intelligent motivated women sat around a table discussing community needs, shopping, the economy, recycling and business. Have To Have It! was born. The shoppe has been created to give the community a donation center, allowing re-use of items they no longer need. These items will be re-cycled, sold or donated to others. Have To Have It will also provide a free pick-up service. “So many people don’t have the time or energy to go through their things but they don’t want them to go to waste. We want to give them an alternative to storing them, tossing them or constantly putting off a yard sale,” explains co-owner Suzette Richards. “We will handle each donation with care because we know there is someone else that will ‘Have To Have It!’.” Located in the beautiful thriving community of Hampstead in Pender County, Have To Have It! intends to assist in making Hampstead the premier shopping destination for treasure hunters, discount shoppers and budget conscious consumers. “We want to create a fun shopping experience, where customers can’t wait to come back, bring their friends and experience the Have to Have It! atmosphere,” states co-owner Chandra Marley Covil. Have To Have It! Thrift Shoppe will open on Monday, March 1st at 10am, and regular business hours are Mon-Fri 10am-5pm, Sat 9am-3pm. Visit their website: www.havetohaveitthriftshoppe.com. |

Letter from Afghanistan:
Hello my all dears!
Hope every one is well and having great moments! I am so delighted letting you all know regarding Jennifer gold and her back visitation to Afghanistan.
On OCT 30th Jenn met CETC computer lab, she came here to Afghanistan a few days ago and her last visitation was to CETC computer lab. We didn’t know regarding Jenn back trip to Afghanistan and also about her meeting CETC, she came suddenly and made all of us very surprise and that was a surprising meeting of her. At her last visitation and trip which spent almost two months, she was checking and seeing the library of CETC computer lab.
In this visitation she brought lots of books in different subjects with her to our library and specially the very important books. There are different books regarding each topic, subject and issue from which I can say if you would see and read them you will be appreciate of. She in her speech mentioned “last month when I back to US I was thinking regarding you all how you guys are studying hard so I thought my self that CETC computer lab has also a library what if I should buy some books for that library. I went to a local thrift store and I was choosing the books and selecting them for you all and when the owner of the store, knew what I was doing she kindly donated even more books for me to give to you! After all each student one by one was appreciating and thanking Jenn and her store, Have to Have it, for helping and for dedicating a very high gift in educational environment. And some of the students were also talking about the library advantages and importance.
Abdul Qaum Almas Country program director thanked Jenn for her constant cooperation to GCEP and showing all the world that people are helping us
Sahar Ishaqzia the CETC computer IT Trainer was also thanking Jenn and wishing her success in her life.
Jennifer gold said “when last month I back to US I was still talking about you guys and about your hospitality to my family, friends and other people, In fact I had very wonderful and enjoyable moments with you all from which I can say that it’s impossible that I would forget any memorial regarding my trip and visitation. Tomorrow I am going back but I will come inshallah again in December first and will spend long times with you all” At the end Sir Sahar as representative of all the CETC dedicated a bouquet of flower as a gift for Jenn.
We thank Jenn and the store, Have to Have it, for the wonderful books. They will surely help us with our studies and recreation in wanting to better our English and literature knowledge. We cannot thank them enough - again and again - thank you thank you thank you! |
